About Us

The Club was founded in 1988 and has occupied its existing building since its opening by Lady Diana, Princess of Wales in that year.

Membership is open to persons of all ages and genders, and includes both playing and social members.

There are 8 rinks with an average speed of 17 seconds, a large car park, and a function room which will accommodate just under 100 people for meals; also changing rooms for male and females, and a good kitchen and bar. Facilities are available for the disabled. LIBC supports the sporting endeavours of under privileged members of society.

The Club is affiliated to the English Indoor Bowling Association, Bedfordshire Indoor Bowling Association and London & Southern Counties Bowling Association.

LIBC members play in National, County, Club Competitions, and friendlies (single sex and mixed) throughout the year.

New members are welcome. There is a small charge for tuition half of which is refunded if the trainee joins the club.
