On Friday, 8th March around 40 members and friends visited the Brick Lane Music Hall. This has become an annual event, this being the 7th visit. After a lunch of carrot and coriander soup, followed by chicken in a white sauce with assorted vegetables, rounded off with rhubarb crumble and custard we were treated to a performance of Mother’s Goosed ... an adult pantomime! There was a great deal of laughter and merriment and Ann being our organiser received a bunch of roses ... and those of us who sat in the front row received a soaking. Great fun ... already looking forward to next year!!

Firstly, I would like to thank all those of you who encouraged me to stand and those who nominated me as Chairman of our club. I do hope that I can make a difference and encourage a happy, and successful club.
However, one person cannot make a difference on their own, it will take a team effort. We have difficult and interesting times ahead with a lease extension to negotiate, and a future to plan and build for, but with a positive outlook I am optimistic that the future for Luton Indoor Bowls Club is bright.
We are already moving forward with a new website that is up and running and members will, in the near future, be kept informed by email. Please make sure that the office has your email address!
I look forward to working with you for the good of our club. Happy Bowling!Richard
